Well done to Lance for getting the old A into G and organising this social event for the Hamilton / Tauranga area.

Lance's Report from the first casual night meeting.

Last night 9 of us from the Tauranga area got together for the first of our casuals get togethers. Photo only shows 7 as one left to go to another meeting and guess who took the photo?
Will take a proper camera next time.

From this casual night we heard stories of yesteryear racing days from the lips of a record holder. I swear 2 of these guys went to school with Burt Munro!!! Speaking of who, Andrew is hoping to organise a trip to a secret location over Matamata way of a guy who is very muchBurt and improvises to make bikes just go fast.

We plan to get together on the 4th Tuesday of every month, except December as we are all busy.

Next night out Tuesday 28th October at Okoroire Hotel 7pm. Meeting / leaving at GL Joe's place,
3C Glenlyon Avenue. Tauranga at 6pm.

First casuals ride Saturday 18th October to visit bike shed in Matamata hopefully, and then picking a long road home. Meeting / leaving from GL Joe's place as above.

Hope to see more Tauranga members and others next time.
